Truth or Date

By author – Portia MacIntosh

My Review:

Truth or Date is the first book by Portia that I’ve ever read and it’s definitely not going to be the last.  I’m in love with 90% of all CarinaUK’s book and authors and this was definitely no exception.  I read the book in 2 days and it was so addicting!

Me Before You – Book Review

Me Before You

Rating: 7.5/10

I have to say I was a little disappointed that I didn’t end up bawling at the end of this book. Everyone I talked to about it said that they sobbed. Perhaps it was the trailer that spoiled it for me, perhaps it was my high expectations of sadness based on other’s reviews, but I was sorely disappointed in the crying sector.

Don’t get me wrong, this book was sad, but I spent most of the book anticipating being sad, and that ruined the experience for me.

Natalie’s Getting Married – Book Review

Natalies Getting Married

Natalie’s Getting Married
By author – Rosa Temple

My Review:

This is the second of Rosa’s books I’ve read and, I LOVED it!  Rosa’s books are lighthearted, fun and funny, and I felt like her second book was even better than her first!  Her writing is pleasant, the characters are likable and you are addicted right from the very first chapter.  I read the book in 1 night and definitely didn’t want it to end.

Fangirl – Book Review

Author: Rainbow Rowell
Genre: YA Contemporary
Pages: 461
Publisher: Pan Macmillan

Cath and Wren are identical twins and until recently they did absolutely everything together. Now they’re off to university and Wren’s decided she doesn’t want to be one half of a pair any more – she wants to dance, meet boys, go to parties and let loose. It’s not so easy for Cath. She would rather bury herself in the fanfiction she writes where there’s romance far more intense than anything she’s experienced in real life.
