The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
What an amazing book. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to read this treasure. 5 stars! This is going straight to my all time favourite book list, for sure.

This book was actually recommended to me by my boss. I know, random! We were discussing some of our favorite authors and even genres, and he happened to have one of his favorite books on him and just said, “Here, give this a read.” Although I have never heard of the author or book, I was intrigued.
One of the reasons I read this book is because it reminded me of the song by Kelly Clarkson. Just like I loved the song, I loved the book too. :)

This book was a very pleasant surprise. I didn’t know what to expect when I read the blurb about Under Dark Skies. After seeing the cover, I thought that there might be some sort of werewolf or dark fantasy sort of thing going on, but figured that I would give it a shot anyway. (I really don’t like most werewolf books.) Well, this wasn’t what I expected at all.
